My poor choice of cameras has meant I have not produced any photos of interest with a high enough resolution to be fit to share. Enter the period of the cheap cellphone pic, with cheesy photo-editing options and poor quality, generally.
I am hoping this will change at some point in the not too distant future. My life right now is care-taking. My father’s surprising resilience matched with a brain that is quickly, episodically, returning to infancy, in fact unlearning everything about his life. He has now begun to forget events from the past, a recent descent into semi-detached reality.
I think I will make the last day and weeks with my father the subject of my next work. His social world has shrunken to time with me, his only living daughter, and the workers at the RPA where he lives.
He was once a wonderful, gentle man, for the most part.
